Residential Weekly Trash Collection

 We understand how important your residential weekly trash collection is for you and your home. We provide superior customer service compared to the competition. Our staff is here to answer any questions you may have concerning your trash services. 

Pinto Brothers Disposal currently offers two different options for your garbage disposal. Curb and driveway services are the two options we offer to service your needs as a homeowner.  Our service is based on a 96 gallon or 65 gallon service for your trash container.  For collection services, we offer twice a week and once a week collection. We also offer a senior citizen rate. All new customers receive their first month free. 

Important items concerning weekly residential collection.
  • Household garbage includes any waste generated on a daily basis from your home. 
  • All household garbage should be bagged properly and placed into the container for collection.
  • This excludes vehicle parts, hazardous waste, liquid waste, liquid paint, motor oil/fluids, yard waste, recycling, dirt, concrete, tires or other unacceptable materials.
  • All containers should be ready and placed outside the night before your collection day(s). 
    • Curbside customer's container should be placed at the curb (End of driveway in street) at least 3 feet away from your mailbox, light post, car or any other objects.
    • Driveway customer's container should be placed in your driveway in front or next to your garage doors.
  • Any items or bags that are left outside of your container will not be collected unless there is a work order scheduled. Please call the office before putting anything out for collection that does not fit into the container. 
Information about residential bulk collection
  • As a courtesy, we collected two approved bulk waste items for free on a monthly scheduled basis. 
    • Bulk waste needs to be scheduled and approved by the office before collection. 
    • If you have more than two approved bulk items for collection, we will provide a price for the extra items to be collected at that time. Depending on the number and size of the items, we might suggest you renting a roll-off container.

  •  As a residential customer, we also offer a dumpster service to be able to assist you with your home projects and clean up jobs
Information about residential recycling collection
  • Recycling is collected by your township and/or county. We do not collect residential recyclable materials that is collected by your township and/or county. Information about residential electronic waste and appliances collection
  • Electronic Waste and Appliances are considered recycling, reuseable, non-perishable items. Middlesex County Landfill and Bridgewater Resources does not accept these items mixed with household garbage. These items should be properly recycled.   • What can I throw out on my service days?

    Residential garbage services are for regular household garbage, which is essentially household waste that is generated on a daily basis that includes, but are not limited to, food, non-recycling items, and perishable items.


    All household garbage should be bagged and placed in a garbage container for collection.


    Trash container should be placed outside the night before your collection day(s).


    Recycling materials (cardboard, glass, bottles, newspapers, etc.) should be separated from you household collection by us.  They are collected by the townships. See our Local Recycling Information page for more information 


    If you need to get rid of construction materials, demo rooms/jobs, larger items, cleanups, and construction debris, please contact the office; a representative will be able to assist you with different options for collecting those items.

  • What is considered a bulk item and how to schedule bulk collection?

    To all residential customers our service includes collection of two approved bulk items for free on a monthly scheduled basis.


    Bulk waste needs to be scheduled and approved by the office before collection.


    If you have more than two approved bulk items for collection, we will provide a price for extra items to be collected at that time. Depending on the number and size of the items, we might suggest you renting a roll-off container.


    All bulk is a curbside collection regardless of service package. We do not collect bulk from inside your garage, home, or driveway.


    Normally bulk collection is performed on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. (Depending on you're service route)  


     In an event, your looking to clean out an entire room, garage, basement full items we might direct you to rent a dumpster.


    Please see a list of acceptable and unacceptable items for the bulk collection.

    - Couch (love seat/three seater)

    - Lawn Motors (Emptied/Push Motor)

    - Small Snow blower (Emptied)

    - Table

    - Small Rug (Floor rug)

    - Door

    - Small group of wood 

    *** Any small items. If you do not see an item above you are looking to throw out, please give us a call we would be happy to confirm the item for you.


    Unacceptable Bulk Items for the free collection program are the following:

    - Construction material

    - Construction debris

    - Demo Jobs

    - Demo Rooms

    - Tires

    - Concrete

    - Dirt

    - Tree stomps

    - Liquids

    - Multiple pieces of wood/lumber

    - Fence/Fencing

    - Full room(s) of carpet/padding

    - Full room(s) of flooring

    - Vehicle Parts

    - Hazardous Waste

    - Liquid Paint

    - Full bathrooms (Sink, Toliet, Vanity, Mirror, Shower, Tub)

    - Motor Oil

    ***If you need to dispose of construction/demo materials we are able to assist you in that collection but does not fall under the bulk collection program. Depending on the materials and size of load we can scheduled a special collection for a fee or supply you with a rental dumpster.

     

  • Are there any items that can’t be mix with my residential garbage?

    Yes. 


    Recyclable materials, hazardous material, items containing Freon, appliances, tires, concrete,  dirt, oils, car batteries, wet paint, and hot ashes/coals. 


    These items should not be mixed with your regular household pickup.

  • When / where should I put out my garbage containers?

    We recommend to residential customers to place their containers out the night before their scheduled pick day. 


    Curbside customers normally place containers at the bottom of their driveway on the street. At least 3 feet away from your mailbox, light post, car, or any other objects.


    Driveway customers normally place containers in front or on the side of their garage doors. We will not collect the containers from inside your garage, home, or in you backyard.



  • How do I dispose of paint?

    Please do not throw away any containers with wet liquid paint in them. If you have paint to be disposed of, please follow these directions:

    • To solidify solvents and other household waste, mix the liquid with enough adsorbent material to absorb all free liquid and allow the mixture to harden.
    • Sand, sawdust, or cat litter can be used.
    • Place the solidified material in a plastic bag (double bagging is best), call us so we can inform the driver, and put it with your regualr solid waste.
    • Dispose pf at your local paint store.
